Honestly not as hydrating as I hoped. I love Benton and have been using their products since 2012 but this one wasn't my fav. The high content snail bee line lotion works better.
This lotion works great for my combo/oily acne-prone skin, and has been perfect for use during the humid summer months. It is lightweight and it definitely doesn't break me out (my top priority in a lotion/moisturizer), so I will probably be repurchasing this next spring/summer. However, the packaging isn't great as it's just a hole opening beneath the cap, I find I often end up dispensing way more product than I would choose to, just because I kind of have to shake it out onto my palm. I'm assuming this will also make it difficult to use up every last bit in the container. Besides that, there is a somewhat strong green tea scent while applying, which may bother some but the scent doesn't linger.
This is a lightweight lotion that feels refreshing and soothing. Using in conjunction with the green tea toner it reduced the oil levels on my face. It has a slight herbal smell. The packaging makes it difficult to get the product out. I really enjoyed using this product, but unfortunately, I discovered that sunflower oil breaks me out (any oil other than squalane, actually). But most people won't have this issue, so I'd recommend it.
I really wanted to love this product but this wasn't quite hydrating enough for me for winter in Northern Canada with the dry/cold weather. I wanted something light for the day but it left my skin feeling tight and uncomfortable. I'd recommend this to someone wanting an extra light weight moisturizer as the consistency is very thin. On a positive note, it didn't irritate my sensitive skin.
I've been struggling to find a moisturizer that can hydrate my skin during this winter without agitating my perioral dermatitis. Everything moisturizing irritates my skin or blocks my pores. When I saw Benton coming out with a new line for acne prone skin again I was so happy ! I've been I love with their Aloe line but unfortunately they're gel moisturizer is not enough for Canadian winters. This product is a lotion and when reading the ingredients I've fallen in love. It's got the green tea extract to help calm my red spots and reduce my acne and the fatty alcohols to moisturize my dull dehydrated skin. Just perfectly balanced. Absorbed right into my skin, I woke up and my skin tone was even ! Finally ! This is my new favorite.
The Benton Deep Green Tea Lotion is enriched with green tea exact, centella asiatica and other skin benefiting botanical ingredients to revitalize dull, dry skin to reveal a healthy complexion. The light texture of the lotion allows quick absorption into the skin without leaving any residue behind, leaving the skin soft and hydrated.
