I’ve always used Neogen Micro Ferment Essence and decided to give something else a try. I’m a sucker for packaging, so the purple bottle drew me in. I’ve used I’m From’s Mugwort moisturizer and loved it, so I wanted to try something else from the brand. This is a very moisturizing essence that leaves a bit of an oily film, but there’s no oil in it. It’s hard to explain, but some people might not enjoy it. I’m fine with it because the glow and bounce it gives my skin is amazing, and I’m always chasing after the ultimate glow. Because of the slightly oily film, it takes a bit longer to absorb, but my serums and moisturizers have no problem being applied over it. It’s also quite expensive, so I’m not 100% sure I’d repurchase. At this point I don’t think it’s amazing enough to justify the price.
The I’m From Fig Boosting Essence features 62.7% Fig Extract allowing it to absorb quickly into the skin for a soft and hydrating finish. It also features Amino Acid and NMF Peptide, forming a moisture barrier over the skin while offering anti-aging effects. This essence “boosts” the skin to prepare it for the remaining steps of any skincare routine.
